Showcasing Sodoki Art

I started my artist journey at a young age in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania and attended Bagamoyo College of Art in 2002. I moved to Chicago

I use oil paints, and utilize a pallet knife instead of a paintbrush, which gives the paintings a more textured look. 

I am largely inspired by the Maasai tribe that lives mostly in northern Tanzania and southern Kenya.
